Supporting Mothers

“ No one has ever become poor from giving” - Maya Angelou

Alone, We Do So Little; Together We Can Do So Much

We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community… our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own.

As you may be aware, mental health is a critical issue that affects millions of people around the world. And for mothers, the challenges can be especially acute. From postpartum depression and anxiety to the stress of balancing work and family responsibilities, mothers face a range of mental health challenges that can be difficult to manage. BIPOC mothers are also faced with another layer of unfortunate complexities, systemic racism, discrimination and the wage gap do not allow for these women to perceive life outside of it being a threat.  BIPOC mothers are often left struggling to provide for their families and ensure their children are accessing safe healthcare and right now BIPOC mothers dying during hospital births statistics are at an all time high.

EDUCATION IS LIBERATION

By supporting our community you will be helping to contribute to the education and liberation of mothers of color and to raise awareness about these critical issues, providing vital resources and support to mothers in need. Your donation will go directly to our organization. We provide a range of services such as mentoring, counseling, sponsored travel, birth services, community events, food drives and more, all designed to empower these mothers and give them the tools they need to succeed
